Tutoring - Math & Science

The Math and Science Learning Center offers free tutoring in introductory math and science classes to CSU students and is available as a quiet place to study. During the regular semester we are open 9am - 6pm Monday through Thursday, and 9am - 3pm on Fridays. During these times, tutors are available on a drop-in basis, and help as many or as few students as are present.

Opportunities for appointment based tutoring begins in the Fall of 2015.

Students will be able to schedule tutoring appointments between the hours of 9:00 a.m.  and 6:00 p.m. Please visit this website to make an appointment: https://columbusstate.mywconline.com/.   You will need to register with the site first.  Walk in tutoring services will be based on availability.

In the News!

We are so proud to share exciting news regarding our former students and tutors, Tim Jones and Carrie Ann Sharitt.  Both 2014 graduates were participants in the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program at CSU and worked for the MSLC as peer leaders. Tim also worked in the MSLC as a tutor.  Tim was selected as Pitsco Education's January 2015 Science Teacher of the Month. See http://www.pitsco.com/About/?art=7708.   Tim and Carrie Ann were selected as 2015 winners of the National Science Teaching Association's Maitland P. Simmons Memorial Award for New Teachers.
